M-am uitat acum la rezumate si s-a auzit un trosnet la momentul accidentarii lui Valencia.

Clubul a dat un comunicat in care se pronosticheaza ca Valencia are fractura de glezna si ca va lipsi tot restul sezonului. Miercuri dimineata Valencia va fi operat.

Sir Alex Ferguson a comparat accidentarea ecuadorianului cu cea a lui Alan Smith in 2006 cu Liverpool.

<h4 class="newsHeadline">Debut boy Bebe draws plaudits</h4> In the relatively low key surroundings of Scunthorpe United's Glanford Park, Portuguese under-21 international Bebe made one of the most anticipated United debuts of recent years.

 

The 20-year-old was handed a 15-minute outing in the dying embers of the Reds' Carling Cup victory, and he demonstrated glimpses of the raw potential which prompted his remarkable capture, surging down the left flank and displaying a willingness to attack defenders and threaten the hosts' goal.

 

Assistant manager Mike Phelan took charge of the team in Sir Alex Ferguson's absence, and was more than happy with what he saw from the Reds' newest recruit.

 

"The scoreline gave us the opportunity to give Bebe a little look at what Manchester United's all about. I thought he responded very well," Phelan told MUTV. "There were fleeting moments of pace and power, and he got a little bit excited now and again. But it's important that players like him get these opportunities."

 

Having witnessed Bebe's first few weeks as a United player, from his first training session to his maiden appearance, defender Chris Smalling insists the Portuguese is rapidly acclimatising to life in the Reds' fold.

 

"Since he's come in, he's become sharper every day," said the defender. "He's really improving and working on his fitness. Tonight he really caused their full-back problems, coming in from the wing, and hopefully we'll see him produce that kind of form in many games to come."

Gary Neville has retired from football after almost 20 years playing at Manchester United.

 

Gary signed for United in July 1991 and was part of the famous Class of '92 that won the FA Youth Cup in 1992. He then became a first-team regular alongside his teammates from that side, Ryan Giggs, Paul Scholes, Nicky Butt, his brother Philip and David Beckham.

 

In his time at Old Trafford, Gary played 602 games and scored seven goals. He has won the Champions League, eight Premier League trophies, three FA Cups, two League Cups, the Intercontinental Cup and FIFA Club World Cup. He became club captain in 2005.

 

Gary won 85 caps for England between 1995 and 2007, playing in two World Cups (1998 and 2006) and three European Championships (1996, 2000 and 2004).

 

Neville, 36 this month, made the decision after much consideration. He said:

 

"I have been a Manchester United fan all my life and fulfilled every dream I've ever had. Obviously I am disappointed that my playing days are at an end, however it comes to us

Si probabil si Rooney pentru ca nu mai conteaza motivul.
